WATER
SAVING DEVICE

Here's an interesting and effective watering siphon, as demonstrated to us by Wagga Wagga innovator, Norm Byng. Two plastic bottles and a pipe cleaner arranged as shown, will disperse one drip of water per second - ideal for plants that need regular or constant soil moisture. The upper part of the device is a 2 litre bottle with cap. Two small holes, one in the cap and the other in the lower neck allow the water to feed to the lower tank, as its water is siphoned out by the pipe cleaner. We have tried out one of these devices and it provided a good drip feed of water over several days. It would
seem most suitable for small garden beds, individual plants or large pot
plants.
